Objective:
Our goal is to attract and retain young members. With an aging membership, we want to focus on
the transfer of wealth from parents and grandparents to the children or grandchildren in their lives.
We believe in making savings fun. Enter Hamlet! The pig who knows the fun way to set and track
savings goals.
Target audience:
Current members with youth in their households, schools and classrooms within a 1-mile radius of
one of our eight branches. Schools love to learn about money management!
In addition to youth members, we also upgraded our programs for young adult members, including
a Starter Visa Platinum Card, a First-Time Auto Loan and a Starter Checking Account. These
products give us something to offer our young members as they age out of the Hamlet piggy bank
age and begin graduating to "financial firsts."
