This report is created annually in order to provide our board with a comprehensive overview of our credit union achievements from the prior year, as well as inform them of our goals and projects for the upcoming year. Our target audience is a group of 9 individuals aged 40-74, who all live in the Portland metro area. Many of these individuals are considered middle to upper-middle class and have served on the board of our credit union for 15+ years.
While our main objective was to provide our audience with pertinent information about our financials, successes and future projects, we also wanted to capture our audience in another way this year. With a recently updated brand and plans to launch a new website, our intention with the 2016 annual report was to create an engaging collateral piece that not only delivered information, but also unveiled our updated look and feel. We believe that the branding and marketing strategy of our credit union is as equally important as the numbers because this is the face of our credit union and how we present ourselves to the community. We wanted to show this to them through implementation, rather than simply put it in writing.
