Desert Financial Credit Union

After examining what makes Desert Financial unique, we identified five core values that determine our company culture: Personal Drive, Team Mindset, Big Thinking, People Smarts and Passion to Help. Our Mission, Vision and Values Playbook was designed to introduce these five core values to our team in an exciting, spirited and educational format that speaks to our overall culture. Though the book is consistent with company-wide branding, this was something that employees had never seen before –our culture thoroughly explained and connected with Desert Financial’s mission and vision statements.

Puzzles and quizzes were created to test employees’ understanding of each value, key components of each value were defined and quotes were carefully selected to align with each of the core values. Personal photos of our team interactions imbue the Playbook with the warmth and generosity of spirit that the credit union is known for, and sturdy binding materials were chosen to communicate the importance and longevity of our mission, our vision, and the five core values that we strive to live by every day. Our audience was Desert Financial team members at all levels of the organization.
