Pelican State Credit Union
Having 16 locations spread across the entire state of Louisiana, our senior leadership team does their best keeping everyone connected and working toward the same goal despite their geographical location. Even though Pelican hosts an annual picnic and Christmas party, not everyone is able to attend, and this sometimes leaves different branches and departments of the credit union feeling disconnected or left out.
To combat any feelings of disconnect, the objective of Pelican’s Family Reunion event is to further preserve the credit union’s culture, recognize our branches and departments, and help bring everyone together. We believe that the work environment at Pelican is directly related to our success as an organization. Happy employees are more productive and more helpful to our members. The Family Reunion is a mandatory paid day for all employees and is all about fun, teamwork, recognition, and making sure that our employees are happy and proud of where they work.
The target audience for our 3rd Annual Family Reunion in 2018 was our 255 team members who attended, who in turn deliver a quality experience to our members.
Pelican prides itself on its family-oriented culture. We start internally by caring for our employees and their families, and we carry that culture down to our members as we try and deliver exceptional service while also building a bond and leaving a notable impression each and every visit.
