In May 2019, Canvas Credit Union launched a new recognition program called Canvas Creatures. The Canvas Creature program is an internal award that is promoted through internal communication and is nominated by fellow family members at Canvas Credit Union. The program introduced furry mascots that represent key facets of Canvas’ values such as; Impossible the Unicorn (turning the impossible, possible), Multi-tasking Octopus, All-Heart Hamster, Mr. Get-out-of-a-Pickle, Fearless Fox, and Above and Beyond Frog. Recipients of the Canvas Creatures are recognized on the Canvas intranet, via company email, and have the Canvas Creature live at their desk for two weeks as a badge of honor that shows they are a valued family member at Canvas that lives our values in their efforts.
